OUR CLUB & MEMBERS
For over 55 years our members have come together to create a warm and inviting club, open to sharing German culture with all the residents of Kelowna and the surrounding area.
Members and guests enjoy many annual traditions. We live it up at the Spring Dance, Oktober Fest, Schnitzel Dinner and Easter Breakfast. Our Christmas Dinner and Party is always festive, traditional and includes yuletide fun for young and old! We have a Mothers Day and Fathers Day brunch and music and laughter fill the summer air during our annual picnic.
The New Years Ball is a splendid event with a gourmet dinner, dancing and a fantastic midnight snack. The rest of the year we have tons of fun with skits and songs, stories and music for dancing.
Who can resist home baked goods like Nelli's torten, Ella's fruit and crumb cake, Dieter's Bienenstich (almond covered and cream filled) and Margaret's traditional Frankfurter Kranz cake? Served up with fresh coffee every Sunday.
With all of this activity the club has stayed vibrant and steadfast for many years!

The Executive is a great group of enthusiastic club members that dedicate time and heart to the successful operation of the German Club. Under the enterprising leadership of our executive team, the club has expanded over the past few years. We are now over 250 members strong! There are plenty of opportunities to get involved. We always look for enthusiastic volunteers or maybe you would like to become part of the Executive? Elections are held annually in the spring. Please let us know if you are interested and we will put your skills to good use!
